Chamelio's search feature helps you quickly find the contracts, flows, and items you need across your entire workspace. Whether you're looking for a specific agreement, tracking a workflow, or searching for relevant clauses, search makes it easy to locate exactly what you're looking for.

Getting Started with Search

From the Search page, use the search bar at the top to enter a keyword or phrase. As you type, Chamelio displays results across your workspace in real-time.

Search Filter Tabs

Once you've entered a search term, you can refine your results using the filter tabs:

All - Display results from all sources, including contracts, flows, tasks, and vault items. This gives you a comprehensive view of everything matching your search.

Contracts - Show only contracts containing your search term. Chamelio displays relevant clauses and excerpts from matching agreements, making it easy to spot what you need.

Flows - Filter to show only workflows and tasks related to your search. This is helpful when tracking specific workflow executions or looking for tasks by name.

Vault - Search through your Documents Vault, which contains confidential or archived documents requiring restricted access.

Archive - Find documents you've previously archived. Archived items are stored separately but remain searchable for reference.

Understanding Search Results

Each search result displays key information to help you identify the right item:

Result Type - A label indicates whether the result is a Contract, Task, Flow, or Vault item. This helps you quickly distinguish between different types of content.

Item Name - The primary title or name of the document, flow, or task.

Content Preview - For contracts, Chamelio shows a snippet of relevant text containing your search term. Matching keywords appear highlighted in italics, so you can see the context immediately.

Metadata - Additional details like the associated organization (for contracts), teams, or dates help you identify the correct item. For tasks and flows, you'll see status information like "Completed," "Pending," or "Active."

Timestamp - Shows when the item was last modified or created, helping you find the most recent versions.

Tips for Effective Searching

Use specific keywords - The more specific your search term, the more targeted your results. Searching for "vendor NDA" will return more relevant results than just "vendor."

Search across document content - Chamelio searches through the full text of your contracts, not just titles. This means you can find clauses by searching for specific terms, even if they're buried deep in a document.

Filter by type first - If you know what type of item you're looking for, use the filter tabs to narrow results immediately.

Check multiple tabs - The same search term might yield relevant results in different tabs. For example, "liability cap" might appear both in contract results and in flows designed to handle liability discussions.
