The Templates page is where you can manage and edit your agreement templates, which will be used for drafting and generation of new agreements, amendments, and more, by using Chamelio's Agent, Flows, and more.

By making use of this comprehensive template management system featuring version control, inline editing capabilities, and improved UI/UX. Users can now upload new template versions, navigate between different versions, edit templates directly with a rich toolbar, and manage template variables more effectively. The system includes better visual design with proper spacing, improved editor backgrounds, and streamlined template details display.

Template Manager supports the creation of simple replacement placeholders (such as date, counterparty name, etc.), signature placeholders for automated envelope creation, and variables. Select Variables are a new concept that allows you to manage multiple versions of a template within a single document by setting different options for specific clauses or sections.

How to add the different types of placeholders:

  1. Variable: mark the relevant part of the provision that should become a place holder, and either: (i) right click - "Mark as Variable"; or (ii) add square brackets [ ] around it.

  2. Select Variable: right click where you would like to add it, and choose "add select variable". In the pop up window on the right side of the screen add the Select Variable Name and the different options, and click "Create".

  3. Signature Placeholder: right click where you would like to add it, and click "Insert Signature" and choose the appropriate signature placeholder to be added.
